Well another quietish day - Arrived at work at 8am this morning and checked my e-mails - The usual mails were there

* Custody Computer will be off line for 4 hours (Glad I don't work in custody )
* The duty booking on system will be down whilst we transfer the data to the test database as we are experiencing problems with the software. (Good to see that we spent thousands on a computerized system that never works properly )

And so the list goes on!

Had to go to the school on my beat to speak with a 9 year old child about his aggressive behaviour, with his mum (Who is a teacher) and the discipline head present. Got a call about 8:40 to say he had gone sick

Went to my divisional headquarters to talk about a job we did some weeks ago and the plan to arrest the outstanding suspect. Can't go into too much detail at the moment but watch this space

It takes me back to my CID days where we actually dealt with real villains and not the mrs Miggins of this world

That took me to about 4pm and after several phone calls started to wind up for the day. Pretty boring today but at least I am up to date again
